Join the Corporate Affiliate Programs
Companies shall be approved or denied participation in the Corporate Affiliate Program (CAP) by majority vote of an Oversight Committee. The Committee will consist of NHMS members, NHMS staff, and two or more Corporate Affiliate members. The Committee will represent the interests of the NHMS organization and its membership as it relates to the organization of the CAP and the relationships developed in association with the CAP. The Committee will agree to meet either in person or via phone on a monthly basis to review and vote on applications received by the NHMS, and will approve or deny participation according to the following guidelines:
- The Company's product or service
- is deemed of potential interest to physicians on a personal or professional level
- is consistent with the values and goals of the NHMS
- is not intrinsically harmful to or obstructive of the public health or the welfare of physicians and/or patients
- The Company’s marketing of products and services is not misleading or inconsistent with the values and goals of the NHMS.
- Current customers, preferably in the medical community, have given positive references.
- The Company is in good financial standing (i.e. has not filed for bankruptcy or been listed on standard consumer reports as delinquent on services rendered.)
- The Company agrees to NHMS CAP marketing guidelines.
- Companies whose sole purpose or commonly recognized purposes are among the following shall not be considered for participation: manufacturing tobacco or related products; marketing of religious or political products or services; products or services that are considered offensive by a majority of the Oversight Committee.

NHMS Corporate Affiliates Receive:
- the bimonthly NHMS newsletter which features the Corporate Affiliate Program and contains information that New Hampshire’s medical community needs, including legislative, coding, legal, continuing education and organizational updates.
- the opportunity to write articles for the newsletter about ones industry or other topic at no charge (articles to be reviewed and approved by CAP)
- the opportunity to have discounted advertising rates for the newsletter
- discounted exhibit rates at the NHMS annual meeting
- an invitation to the annual NHMS-CAP networking forum
- the NHMS weekly email update which contains pertinent industry news as well as the featured corporate affiliate(s) of the week
- inclusion in the ‘Member Services and Affiliate Guide’
- inclusion in the NHMS website to include your complete company description and a LINK to your website
- the opportunity to use the NHMS conference room to meet with members at no charge
- the opportunity to mail to NHMS members on a limited basis (the NHMS will administer mailings for CAP members at cost, or work through a third party vendor. Membership data is not distributed directly)
- the opportunity to include product or service brochure(s) in NHMS membership mailings, as newsletter inserts or be distributed at relevant meetings
- the opportunity to be promoted by NHMS-CAP director and NHMS executive staff at various ‘forums’ around the state ( e.g. hospital staff meetings, large and small physician practice groups, physician organizations, MGMA meetings and other) as well as priority referral for member needs
