Lauren Branchini, MD was recently elected as the new President of the New Hampshire Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons (NHSEPS). 

Dr. Branchini is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Laconia Eye and Laser Center where she focuses on medically treated retinal disease.  During her two-year term as NHSEPS president, she intends to focus improving engagement among ophthalmologists to address public policy issues to advance patient safety and outcomes in the Granite State. 

She is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Tufts/New England Eye Center, where she also completed a joint research fellowship with Massachusetts Institute of Technology in optical coherence tomography.  

Dr. Branchini also has served as the NHSEPS representative to the Council of the New Hampshire Medical Society since 2017. 

She lives with her husband and two children in Laconia and enjoys art, music, nature and marigolds.
