Dr. Tessa Lafortune-Greenberg Inaugurated as 187th President of NHMS

Tessa Lafortune-Greenberg, MD, was recently inaugurated as the 187th president of the New Hampshire Medical Society during its Annual Meeting at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in New Castle.

Dr. Lafortune-Greenberg is a pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Chair of Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Concord. In addition, she provides clinical informatics support for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Epic electronic medical record system.  Dr. Lafortune-Greenberg also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Treasurer of the New Hampshire Pediatric Society. 

Dr. Lafortune-Greenberg graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, completing her pediatric residency at the UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center in Worcester. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband Mark reside in Concord.

In the coming year, Dr. Lafortune-Greenberg will be focusing on the state’s vaccine registry and ways to promote immunizations across the Granite State.
