Substance Use Disorder Benefit for Standard Medicaid Recipients

July 5, 2016

As of July 1, 2016, a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) benefit is available to New Hampshire's Medicaid recipients. The new benefit, previously offered only to those who enrolled in Medicaid two years ago, as part of the expansion program, can now be accessed by Medicaid recipients in the state’s fee-for-service plan or enrolled with either New Hampshire Healthy Families or the Well Sense Health Plan.

The full list of included SUD services can be found on the New Hampshire DHHS website.
