Effective Care of Chronic Pain Made Simpler

Chronic pain can have a profound impact on function, mood, and quality of life. This course will engage participants in how to deliver practical, effective, multidimensional care of diverse types of pain: musculoskeletal pain, headache, neuropathic pain, abdominal or pelvic pain, and others. It will examine the often complex contributors to the experience of chronic pain and explore the integration of different treatments: pharmacologic, interventionalist, psycho-behavioral, physical and movement therapies, and complementary approaches. Substance use and mental health interfaces will be addressed throughout.
