Mobile Health Clinic to Roll Out Across Coos and Grafton Counties

Coos & Northern Grafton Counties, NH, September 15, 2022 – The New Hampshire Medical Society and North Country Health Consortium launched the Northern New Hampshire Mobile Health Clinic today with ribbon-cutting celebrations at the four partner hospitals:  Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, Littleton Regional Healthcare in Littleton, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, and Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster.  Point32Health Foundation provided a $500,000 matching grant to launch the initiative, which now has more than $1.1 million committed to implementing the Northern NH Mobile Health Clinic Program.

Dr. Eric Kropp Inaugurated as 190th President of the New Hampshire Medical Society

Eric A. Kropp, MD, was inaugurated as the 190th president of the New Hampshire Medical Society during its 2021 Annual Scientific Conference held at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, succeeding anesthesiologist Dr. Kenton Allen.

In 2016, Dr. Kropp started his solo practice, Active Choice Healthcare, in Concord as a pioneer in Direct Primary Care and fostered New Hampshire law about this innovative and emerging medical practice model. He is a founding member of both the New England and National Direct Primary Care Alliances.

    • Note the NIH has updated their guidance on use of bamlanivimab plus etesevimab but this not yet been incorporated into their guidance summary 
    • Review the recent CDC HAN advising against the use of ivermectin, which has not been shown to be effective at treating or preventing COVID-19

Key Points and Recommendations:

  • Magellan Diagnostics, Inc. has expanded their product recall involving the LeadCare ® blood test kits. This expanded COOR-LO recall includes LeadCare® II Blood Test Kits lots: 2012M (Sublots -08, -09, -10, -11, -12, -13, and -14); 2018M; 2102M; 2109M, 2110M; 2111M; 2112M; 2113M; 2114M; and 2115M and is outlined below. These lots are in addition to previously recalled lots.
