A free virtual event for NHMS members
NHMS has teamed up with NH Healthy Climate to bring you an informative webinar on Climate Change and the Impact to Human Health.
This program, taught by retired NH cardiologist and vice chair of the NH Healthy Climate, Robert Dewey, MD, will explore how climate change is impacting public health and will provide examples of how to communicate with patients regarding health risks posed by climate change.
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Understand specific ways climate change affects health;
- Identify patient populations that would benefit from knowledge about climate/weather connections to their underlying medical conditions;
- Understand how physicians are uniquely positioned to increase public awareness of the links between health and climate change.
After this presentation, 80% of attendees will be able to identify 2 climate conditions that impact patient health.
