NHMS Legislative Committee

The organizational meeting of the Legislative Committee is scheduled for Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:30-7:30 PM.

Per NHMS bylaws, the Legislative Committee is charged with concerning itself with state and federal legislation that impacts patients, physicians, public health, insurance, medical liability, etc. The Committee shall make recommendations on policies, positions, and provide general strategic advice to the NHMS Council. 

The meeting agenda will include general housekeeping business (electing a vice-chair, clerk, setting meeting dates, etc.), reviewing the expansive list of 2024 legislation of interest to the Society and making recommendations to share with the Council.
