The NHMS celebrates joining the national Your Care is at Our Core campaign!

Physicians dedicate their lives to the rigorous training and education required to care for patients and to build lasting, meaningful relationships with those they serve. These relationships are the cornerstone of effective medical care—formed through trust, communication, and the time physicians spend understanding each patient’s needs and circumstances.

Today, however, much of a physician’s time is spent navigating obstacles that stand in the way of those relationships. Complex prior authorization requirements and layers of administrative red tape often make it difficult for physicians to provide timely care and receive accurate reimbursement for the services they deliver. Instead of focusing fully on their patients, physicians are frequently forced to manage paperwork, approvals, and systems that slow the delivery of care.

This administrative burden strains the patient-physician relationship and pulls attention away from the people who need physicians the most. The patient-physician relationship is critical to making informed care decisions. It is built on trust, thoughtful conversation, and the time needed to fully understand a patient’s condition and goals. When bureaucracy limits the depth and quality of those interactions, patients ultimately feel the impact.

The New Hampshire Medical Society is excited to be joining the national Your Care is At Our Core campaign with the American Medical Association. Nationally, this campaign highlights the importance of our patients and putting the patient’s experience and care over paperwork.

Will you join us? Your engagement will provide a welcome amplification of the physician’s voice and the care that every patient deserves.

Thank you for standing with us,
