NHMS President's Award

This award for Outstanding Community Partnership recognizes an organization for exceptional leadership and commitment to public health advocacy in New Hampshire, making a meaningful impact on communities through integrity and collaboration.

In her work for New Futures, Kate Frey works to ensure adequate and appropriate funding for substance misuse programs and services and works with policymakers and stakeholders to influence spending priorities for prevention, treatment and recovery. Kate’s work to bring people together ensures that public health leaders and voices are connected, amplify the message and bringing diverse advocacy stories forward.

New Futures is a backbone supporter of public health, providing the infrastructure for people of NH to be active and engaged in legislative advocacy. New Futures raises everyone’s level of expertise by bringing diverse groups together to share data, stories. Through their work and platform, all advocacy voices are stronger – they expand the capacity for all in NH to be more legislatively engaged.
